SVP – Chief Underwriter Small Loans, Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, LLC
Travis oversees the underwriting and approval of the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac small loan business at Berkadia. He has been involved in GSE lending in various capacities since 2009. Travis is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he has his undergraduate and master’s degree in real estate economics and valuation.

Jerry Lam

Chief Underwriter - Freddie Mac Small Balance Loans, Greystone
Jerry Lam is the Managing Director of SBL Credit & Underwriting and most recently expanded his role to lead the Strategic Partnerships and Business Development technology-enabled platform known as Greystone EDGE. Prior to joining Greystone in 2019, Mr. Lam held leadership positions in underwriting servicing as director of SBL underwriting and credit in the Western Region and lead several technology initiatives in the Small Balance Loan Program at Freddie Mac where he was instrumental in co-developing a national mobile property inspection application known as Optigo Happy (powered by HappyCo software and systems). Mr. Lam has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate debt and equity, including LIHTC equity and Tax Credit syndication. Prior to joining Freddie Mac in 2015, he held roles in origination and credit by building successful teams to scale multiple lines of business through technology adoption at NewPoint Real Estate Capital (formerly known as Barings Capital/Alliant Capital). Mr. Lam earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Fullerton.

Kevin Vanarsdall

Deputy Chief Underwriter, Greystone
Kevin Vanarsdall is a Deputy Chief Underwriter for Greystone’s Agency lending group, with a focus on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae small loans. Mr. Vanarsdall and his team underwrite Agency and non-Agency loans nationwide, with a specialty focus on the East and West coast markets. Mr. Vanarsdall has been with Greystone since 2016, in both the San Francisco and Washington DC offices. Prior to Greystone, Mr. Vanarsdall worked at Freddie Mac as an Underwriter, helping to launch the Small Balance Loan (“SBL”) platform. Mr. Vanarsdall has over 12 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Mr. Vanarsdall earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Virginia Tech and a Master’s in Real Estate Finance from American University.

Vidur Gupta

Founder and CEO, Beekin
Vidur Gupta is the Founder and CEO of Beekin. Prior to founding Beekin, Vidur spent 15 years working in investment banking and real estate at HSBC, Deutsche Bank and HIG Capital ($43B Aum). His experience as a real estate investor was the impetus to building his current business. Outside of Beekin, Vidur serves on the boards of early stage and public businesses and until recently was a Non-Executive Director at Notting Hill Genesis (a UK based $30B affordable housing operator) where he was involved in an ESG bond issuance.
